My great grandfather and great uncle both were in the 101st Airborne during WWII, and served in the famous Easy company of the 506 Regiment. I am so proud of the both of them for fighting a fight not many today could. They survived D-Day, Operation Market Garden, and sub freezing temperatures during the Battle of the Bulge. They held the city of Bastone against the German aggressors, and ultimately broke the back of the Germany army. May you both rest in peace. "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.
